Maine Thread twisted waxed cord has exceptional strength and durability. This cord is made of 100% polyester high-tenacity yarn and is constructed with a right or “S” twist. Twisted cords are ideal for saddlery, leathercraft, pine-needle basketry, and more.

All sizes comes with 70 yards per tube.

Versatile Leathercraft Thread

Perfect for 3.85mm or larger stitch spacing on leather projects or for moccasins. The most waxy and most natural appearance of all polycords. One of my favorites!

Incredibly consistent and good product

I had previously ordered the sampler kit and was very impressed with it and have ordered more of this twisted thread for my leather work in both the 0.030 and 035 sizes. The thread has a nice, consistent color, a perfect amount of wax, and is just a joy to work with.

The real deal...FINALLY!!!
I have ordered what was supposed to be waxed cord from 3 other sources that got it from either China or India. None of it was waxed and as a result did not hold a knot very well. I found this company by doing a search for 'waxed thread'. I'm taking the time to write this review because I want to do all I can to ensure these people stay in business since I will not make the mistake of ordering from anyone else in the future. With the vast color selection and varying sizes there is no need for me to look else where. I especially LOVE the chestnut, scarlet and lilac.
