Description
Maine Thread twisted waxed cord has exceptional strength and durability. This cord is made of 100% polyester high-tenacity yarn and is constructed with a right or “S” twist. Twisted cords are ideal for saddlery, leathercraft, pine-needle basketry, and more.
All sizes comes with 70 yards per tube.

Needles
Many crafters use harness needles when sewing with waxed cord. Harness needles have a rounded point and are often used for hand-stitching leather. We recommend the following pairings for needle and thread

I left another 1 star review because I'd never received the order. When I finally saw the travels that little package had gone on it was clear it wasn't MT's fault. So, after finally getting the thread, I gave it a try and it's really nice thread. It works well, feels good and lays nicely. I use this thread for pine needle baskets.
I recommend this for basket making as it grips the needles into a tight weave.
