Description

Maine Thread twisted waxed cord has exceptional strength and durability. This cord is made of 100% polyester high-tenacity yarn and is constructed with a right or “S” twist. Twisted cords are ideal for saddlery, leathercraft, pine-needle basketry, and more.

All sizes comes with 70 yards per tube.

Strong and good looking

I use this mocha thread most of the time now. It pretty much will go with any color leather and has a nice rustic look to it. Very tough stuff.

Absolutely amazing thread, and amazing company!! I especially love this color, it's gorgeous!! I also asked for "low wax" on the tubes I got, and they all came with minimal wax! I'm very pleased!! Waxed cord
Waxed cord from Maine Thread Co. is my favorite thread to use for making pine needle baskets. Strong, uniform and a wide range of colors and weights. A quality product all the way around. Much appreciated the free sample card, taking the guess work out of color and weight choices.

Excellent cord for leather work
Good quality cord, and a great colour - perfect for different leather colours, I've used it with natural leather and one dyed a darker brown, and it works well with both. Easy to thread too. All in all, really good, and I will buy more colours of this same weight cord in the near future.
