.035" (3 ply) cord is considered a light-medium weight and an all-purpose size, and has a break test strength of approximately 43 lbs.

I love their thread. The sample box is great. I started using Maine Thread of the competition, “lion thread” (wink wink). Lays better, super strong works perfect for my projects. I like to use the colored thread for a pop of color. The waxed canvas bag is a great addition to my traveling tool kit. Can’t say enough good stuff about this company.
