Needles
Many crafters use harness needles when sewing with waxed cord. Harness needles have a rounded point and are often used for hand-stitching leather. We recommend the following pairings for needle and thread

I had been using the Twisted Waxed Thread and liked it well enough, but sometimes it was finnicky to thread and came unraveled if you tried to pass the needle through the "tail" to lock it. This stuff is perfect! Super nice to work with and good and strong.

(It is nice seeing Maine Thread on Tandy Leather's site, so more people will find them, but I'll keep buying direct)
I only use braided cord for my leather. And I only use Maine thread.
