.035" (3 ply) cord is considered a light-medium weight and an all-purpose size, and has a break test strength of approximately 43 lbs.

Love the Maine thread. I have been using Tiger thread, but decided to try Maine thread when I ran out. Got the color collection box and love it. So many colors to add to my quiver. Will be doing all my business with this made in the USA company. With this my products will now be 100% made in and made with USA products.
I love their thread. The sample box is great. I started using Maine Thread of the competition, “lion thread” (wink wink). Lays better, super strong works perfect for my projects. I like to use the colored thread for a pop of color. The waxed canvas bag is a great addition to my traveling tool kit. Can’t say enough good stuff about this company.
